PAD SPACE CHECK

SMALL SPACE. INFORMED CHOICE.

A walking pad.
A place to put it.

Measure the gap under your sofa or bed. Compare the folded dimensions, try both horizontal directions, and see where the numbers get tight.

THE SPACE CHECK

Bring a tape measure.

Static dimensions only.
Not an operating-space or safety assessment.

Your space

INSIDE THE STORAGE SPACE

Use the smallest unobstructed rectangle. Central legs, sagging fabric and crossbars reduce the usable space.

THE STRAIGHT ENTRANCE

Measure the narrowest opening along a straight, level path. Turn the pad outside the opening if needed.

Added once to each full dimension, not on each side. The example reserves 1 cm. This is your planning allowance, not a manufacturer safety standard.

Optional: a desk opening

Checks the unfolded outer box only. A crossbar result does not prove collision or safe use. This does not calculate your working desk height.

Add my own folded dimensions

Use the outer folded size, including handles and wheels. Check that its manufacturer allows horizontal storage. Custom data is yours, not verified by us.

Your dimension comparison

Your results will appear here.

A size check, not a fit guarantee. We compare rectangular outer dimensions. Feet, handles, cable routing, uneven floors and moving the machine need a physical check. No vertical storage is evaluated.

MEASURE ONCE. CHECK BOTH WAYS.

Three details that change the answer.

01

The tightest point wins.

Measure inside the furniture and at the entrance. A generous cavity behind a low front rail does not make that entrance taller.

02

Turn flat, never on its side.

We try long-edge-first and short-edge-first orientations while keeping height fixed. We do not assume that a folded pad may be stored upright.

03

Close numbers need a real check.

The maker's inches and millimeters differ slightly. We show both and flag when that difference or your chosen allowance can change the answer.

THE EVIDENCE

Published dimensions, not our tests.

A limited shortlist of three US WalkingPad models. We are independent of WalkingPad and have not physically tested these machines.

Folded length × width × height, exactly as shown in the official unit rows

P1 Classic ↗822 × 547 × 12932.5 × 21.5 × 5
Z1 Grey ↗810 × 560 × 13831.8 × 22 × 5.4

Why a range appears in the results

For each axis, we use the smaller and larger values from the two published unit rows after conversion. These bounds describe a source discrepancy, not manufacturing tolerance. A pass uses the larger value plus your allowance; an uncertain result means the source choice can change the answer. Actual dimensions still need checking.

What this site does not measure

No walking clearance, posture, stability, noise, lifting ability or safety assessment. Overall machine height is not walking-deck height. Follow the exact model's manual for operating space and storage.

A few useful distinctions.

Does “within the published envelope” mean it definitely fits?

No. It means all five rectangular dimension checks pass using both official unit rows and your allowance. It assumes a clear straight path. Real shapes, measurement errors and the manufacturer's instructions still matter.

Why does my desk result say “check actual position”?

We compare a full outer box with the width and crossbar height you enter. A crossbar might not sit over the machine's highest point. A failed conservative screen is not proof of collision; a passing screen is not proof of complete usability.
